My time working as a professional in various capacities, has allowed me to work with hundreds of people with various health conditions and disorders. One key experience was with a 60 plus year old woman with hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) following a femur fracture. This degenerative & neurological disorder made creating an appropriate rehabilitative program challenging. Thanks to her consistent efforts and my progressive strength focused program, she made slow but meaningful progress in her leg stability, strength & overall function.Another significant and rewarding part of my professional experience has been helping people with problems caused by past injuries, stiffness and muscular imbalances. One key experience was working with a 40 year old man who had multiple fused vertebrae in his lumbar spine. He could barely get out of bed when I met him. After 4 weeks focused on improving hip & back mobility he saw dramatic progress in strength and cardiovascular fitness. I believe my experiences as an exercise physiologist & strength & conditioning specialist qualify me to provide meaningful and lasting change to individuals.
