About Ryan Brown

As a construction management and business development professional working within the construction and property industry for over 18 years, I have worked hard at developing meaningful relationships, strengthening brands and creating opportunities for new business.Over the last 4 years, I have developed strong experience in modular construction though the delivery of a number of projects in healthcare, tourism and outdoor education. I am now Strategic Director – Modular at national fitout and construction services specialist SHAPE, where I’m responsible for utilising modern methods of construction to solve complex construction challenges for our clients. Before joining SHAPE, I co-founded and was CEO of MDLR, a disruptor in the construction industry that delivered intelligent, purposeful and high-quality modular buildings for a range of sectors including tourism, health, recreation, and resources.Along with the other founders of MDLR, we also launched ESCA, a luxury accommodation business that utilises the benefits of modular construction to create a low impact, sustainable tourism experience.
