Responsible for strategy implementation and Allocation process improvement within the Bulk Powder department.As a leader within the Bulk Allocations team, I am tasked with optimising decision making and increasing efficiency in an ever changing production environment. This is achieved by a team adoption approach where my influence and goals developed through data analysis are understood and implemented by individuals before the team as a whole. This has resulted in an overall improved team output and furthermore, business effectiveness while enabling team members to take ownership of their position.As part of my role, I have project managed major mining customers and implemented stock controls across multiple modes of supply where unpredictable demand is a daily occurence. Port Botany

A member of the NSW Cargo Movement Coordination Centre (CMCC). My role was working with industry to optimise how cargo moves through Port Botany, Port Kembla and regional NSW across supply chain interfaces and intermodal terminals.Our aim as a team was to better coordinate the activities of operators across the landside cargo transport chain and its stakeholders – including stevedores, road and rail freight operators, network operators and intermodal terminals – to create a more efficient, higher performing freight network and maximising utilisation of existing capacity.My specific focus was on:The state-wide freight network.Bulk commodities (such as grain and coal) as well as container freight.Key supply chain interfaces (ports, road, rail and intermodal terminals).Communication between stakeholders to establish freight efficiencyBuilding on the success of the Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy, which was incorporated into Transport for NSW on 1 July 2014.The CMCC will help drive the state towards the NSW 2021 target of doubling rail’s mode share of container movements through NSW ports by 2020.
