An expert transport planner, policymaker and a leader with a passion for growing people.With my substantial experience across a broad range of transport activities, I bring a rich palette of options and techniques for understanding and changing travel behaviour. I combine this with a curiosity to really understand a given situation – be it developing policy, assessing schemes, securing funding, stakeholder engagement, programme management or sponsoring delivery – and find the right solution. I particularly enjoy working with partners, finding ways to communicate technical issues in their language and building the relationships required to deliver together. My extensive experience in local government enables me to balance political priorities, technical requirements and funding opportunities.Growing people is a key motivator for me.
