• Interact with 10-15+ newly and previously diagnosed patients via phone and/or email each week• Communicate with Doctors and Researchers active in scleroderma treatment to stay current with new information related to the disease• Coordinate the topics and authors of medical articles and other patient oriented literature for Scleroderma VOICE magazine and weekly electronic newsletter• Oversee the planning, updating, editing, and printing of all Foundation patient education materials• Oversee the identification and planning of new support groups that are not covered by Foundation chapters, including 35+ current active groups• Attend professional medical meetings to increase awareness of the disease and what the Foundation offers, including the American College of Rheumatology, American Thoracic Society, and Yankee Dental Conferences• Attend patient meetings to educate patients of what the Foundation offers including the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the Scleroderma Society of Canada patient education conferences• Foundation liaison for the National Medical and Scientific Advisory Board including the Patient Education & Public Awareness sub-committee• Lead role in the planning and logistics of the Foundation’s 3-day, 75+ workshop National Patient Education Conference attended by over 650 people. This is the Foundation’s annual signature event, with 60% growth in attendance since 2011o Identify, contact, and confirm 60+ speakers for conference presentation scheduling, housing and travelo Oversee all scheduling and planning of the youth portion of the conference that runs concurrently with the general conferenceo Plan and order all materials needed for the conference, including registration supplies, marketing materials, printing materials, and signageo Gather and submit all materials necessary for the conference program booko Act as the Venue Logistics Coordinator while on site for the conference

• Responded to both emergent and non-emergent calls to assist residents quickly, safely and efficiently • On-site first responder for medical calls. Tasked with assessing if a full 911 response was necessary• Maintained documentation according to policies and procedures

• Responded to frequent emergent and non-emergent medical calls • Coordinated effectively with local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Hospitals, Med-Flight and other medical facilities• Answered emergent calls for service from a number of municipalities as well as directly from patients and dispatched the appropriate resources• Answered non-emergent calls for scheduled transfers and events• Proven ability to work quickly and effectively in high-stress situations
