I have been in the software and hardware engineering field for the past 15 years. I learned electronics and instrumentation in the United States Air Force while maintaining top of the line F-15 Fighter Jet avionics. I joined Micron technology in October of 2000 as a Process Improvement Engineering Technician where I worked with production and product engineering to improve the overall manufacturing capability and reliability of the Probe workflow. Most of this effort was accomplished by improving equipment as well as the software managing the processes. From there I moved on to the Corporate Engineering Group working as an electrical engineer in product characterization. This involved writing test code (Perl/C and a hybrid of the two) to push the products (mainly versions of mobile DRAM semiconductor devices) to the very limits of expected operation. I also assisted in designing and improving ultra high speed interface hardware to allow characterization testing to be accomplished on new products. In addition to updating and improving the characterization code, part of my job was to gather all of the characterization data Micron required for quality assurance and customer quality reports on Mobile DDR2, DDR3 and LPDDR2 and LPDDR3 devices while I was in the group. I recently worked at Hewlett Packard as a Software Test Engineer for the Indigo group. At HP I work for QA engineering software tests and software testing frameworks to test the HP web based user interface. I use the information gathered to report failures and defects back to the development team. I have also taught C programming at ITT Technical Institute.Bachelor's of Science Degree in Information TechnologySpecialties: Software Engineering and Test, Process Improvement Engineering, Product Quality Assurance, Perl, C, Product Characterization, Software Programming,Characterization Test Implementation, Hardware Design, Selenium, Jenkins, Process Improvement, Statistical Process Control
