I manage and direct the work of a team of analysts across several non-profit clients. We ensure the quality of provided data while developing and producing a suite of reports and performance management tools for direct response programs. I lead of team of analysts focused on the creation and maintenance of predictive models used by the full analytic department to make strategic decisions on donors for solicitation and relationship cultivation. I focus on developing the skills, business understanding, and leadership of my direct reports so that they have the tools needed for a lifetime of professional success.

I work with client data to create/implement statistical predictive/prescriptive models for donor and prospective donor universes, develop donor profiles, utilize cluster analysis, analyze fundraising campaign results, formulate sensitivity analyses, prepare cash flow reports, forecast revenue, create interactive dashboards, and optimize segmentation of data for ongoing fundraising programs.

In this role I focused on cleaning, standardizing, and importing data from numerous and diverse sources and clients primarily using scripts, queries, and ETL process flows in SQL Server Management Studio and other database platforms. I produced automated reports, create mail files, develop donor profiles, analyze fundraising campaign results, formulate sensitivity analyses, prepare cash flow reports, forecast revenue, create interactive dashboards, and optimize segmentation of data for ongoing fundraising programs.

As a pricing actuary for P&C Commerical Casualty unit I developed and leveraged tools to ensure fair and accurate pricing algorithms for a variety of insurance products. I completed annual profitability studies to be used in the review and planning of the business unit as a whole.

Leveraging actuarial education and professional experience, I participated in Commercial Auto product development. This included building predictive modeling to solve for rating factors and creating policy structures to meet the needs of our customers. Additionally, I supported leadership through ad hoc analytics to deepen understanding of myriad programs and collaborated to solve business problems.

I utilized predictive models and analyzing program profitability to develop pricing algorithms for motorcycle, boat, and recreation vehicle policies. Additionally, I worked with state Departments of Insurance regulators to develop price filings to ensure profitable and legally compliant rating systems. By collaborating with specialized modelers I developed methods to ensure financial protection for both the company and the customers in face of catastrophic events. To support business leaders and teammates I developed reports, processes, and analytics in order to contribute to deep understanding of program performance.

I completed reserve reviews, monthly reports, and led meetings with business leaders to ensure appropriate state level reserves for personal auto, commercial auto, and special lines products.
