After reading for my MA in History at the University of Glasgow, I joined The Sherlock Holmes Museum in a Front of House role. Off the back of my success in welcoming guests to the Museum and helping them in the gift shop, the business afforded me the opportunity to develop and deliver their celebrated programme of guided tours.I continued to hone my talents in public speaking and giving guided tours as a Presenter at ZSL London Zoo. Here, I entertained and inspired a wide variety of stakeholders, from a famous death metal vocalist to the Zoo's corporate partners.In 2020, I turned my attention to supporting my community through the lockdown. I worked in a local Tesco where I played a key part in communicating Covid-19 health & safety guidance to a diverse customer base. I also delivered a local newspaper in my neighbourhood, offering a lifeline to those who were self-isolating.At this time, I enjoyed success as a freelance writer working with a wealth of international clients; a testament to my ability to work independently while managing different projects. One client, the digital marketing firm Jobsi, offered me an in-house opportunity as Business Development Executive. My achievements in this sales role led to my most recent job with The Green Energy Advice Bureau, where I won the coveted Player of the Week award in my first month on the sales floor.I am now looking for a new opportunity which will allow me to give back to communities in the Newcastle and Tyneside region.
