I started working at my current job, McBee Associates, in December, 2006. This is a healthcare, financial and management consulting firm. I learned and accomplished many things while working for this company. I acted as a manager for a business office in Colorado (branch of one of largest healthcare companies in US). I was in charge of 5 people within the office. I made monthly projections of revenue and expenses. I conducted quality assurance audits. I created a billing system using Microsoft Excel to increase productivity. I interviewed employees to help morale and increase productivity. I met with the CFO of this company on a weekly basis to discuss progress of the engagement. I have acted as an interim biller in Michigan and West Virginia. I was assistant team lead (for a team of 6) for the West Virginia job. I was in charge of tracking productivity, assigning work to staff, writing bi-weekly status letters, meeting with revenue cycle manager and business office manager to discuss progress of job, etc. I co-lead our Home Health auditing team of 4. I work with clients in assisting them to get us the data we require to conduct the audit. I assign the work to my staff and conduct quality assurance audits on their work files and Episodes of Interest reports. I present our findings (episodes of interest reports) to the clients and explain our results so they feel comfortable asking us to adjust the mispayed claim. I conduct quality assurance audits on all bi-weekly status letters that are sent to each client. I present our final findings presentation to our clients.I like to learn new things.
