As a Roustabout, my main responsibility is to support the drilling rig deck crew in offloading and loading containers, safe transportation of personnel and cargo from and to helicopters, general maintenance tasks, and being part of the fire team in case of emergencies.Key Responsibilities:- Guiding the Crane Operator during loading and unloading of loads.- Ensuring all items on the manifest are aboard and accounted for correctly.- Being part of the fire team in case of emergencies.- Assisting in helicopter landing and transportation of personnel and cargo from and to the Helicopter.- Handling permits.- Dealing with hazardous chemicals (COSHH).- Maintaining housekeeping and carrying out general maintenance duties.With these responsibilities, I will need to have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols and instructions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a PPE equipment producer, specializing in face coverings and cartridges for masks. As a key member of the production team, I was responsible for maintaining machines round the clock, conducting order checks to ensure we had enough material to meet demand, and testing every 2 hours to maintain the correct levels of carbon for our products.Throughout my time at the company, I leveraged my skills to ensure timely and efficient production of high-quality PPEs. By closely monitoring the production process, I was able to catch defects early on and improve the overall quality of the final products. On average, we were able to produce 10,000 face coverings and 5,000 cartridges for masks per day, helping to ensure that essential workers had access to the critical PPE they needed to protect against COVID-19

I had the opportunity to work for Hitachi, a leading train manufacturer, as part of the team responsible for ensuring efficient train moves and timely completion of tasks. My role involved leading a team of 5, presenting daily briefs on train movements, attending weekly health and safety meetings, and documenting the departure and arrival of new trains. In addition to these tasks, I also helped to manufacture the trains by fitting flooring, lights, and wiring.During my time at Hitachi, I played a critical role in ensuring that trains were moved in the most efficient way possible, maximizing productivity and minimizing disruption. Using my leadership skills, I was able to guide my team to successfully complete tasks under strict deadlines. As part of my responsibilities, I also had to document the departure and arrival of trains to ensure that these vital steps were properly recorded for future reference.In addition to my work with train movements, I was also involved in the manufacturing process itself. I helped to fit flooring, lights, and wiring on the trains, contributing to their overall quality and functionality. Through my attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work, I helped to ensure that every train produced by Hitachi met the company's rigorous standards and could stand the test of time.
