Hello! My name is Ryan Cui. I am originally from Toledo, Ohio. I am currently a first-year Finance student at Indiana University Bloomington. My interest in Finance stems from my desire to understand how people and businesses operate and make decisions around money.In High School, I was a part of the Investment Club, where my team and I invested real money in stocks. There, I learned the skills of Market Analysis, where I researched trends, evaluated data, and looked into real-time information. I was also one of the leaders in the Medical Club, where I planned and ran events for Blood Drives. Outside of High School, I dedicated my time to internships with the companies Wing It North and LiuJinSuiYue. Where I learned from influential people, gained corporal experience, and solved problems creatively. These experiences helped me hone the skills of leadership, creative problem-solving, and data analysis. In the future, I plan to continue developing my skills and am eager to learn more here at IU in order to chase my goal of finding a career in Finance. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy traveling, lifting, reading, and fashion.
