2006-2008 (Welder)I was a welder and robot operator, My duties on a daily basis were to tack, stringer, and Run through the IGM robot the rear frame weldment for the GradallAnd JLG telehanders, known as the 6065 rear frame. Also helped where ever needed, weather it was doing weld rework, or just hand welding for the busier areas to keep up with customers demands.2008-2013 (Team lead, Senior tester)In this role I was the only tester and in charge of sales changes, offline units, units with shortages, and trouble shooting troubled units either online or offline. As demand went up I trained other testers to work under me I had 3 on 1st, 2 on 2nd, and 1 on 3rd, I shared my knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and trouble shooting to help the testers be successful and deliver a quality product to our customer on time.2013- Present In 2013 they projected a mass amount of unsold units that would be converted to sales changes upon customers demand. So at that point I transitioned into the role of just managing sales changes and the offline role was backfilled with a new team lead who I shadowed, coached and trained for about a year. in these 3 years I probably managed 1200 to 1500 sales changes, And at one point I had over 450 in sales change that had to meet a end of quarter deadline and it was a success.

I tacked,fabricated and finish welded the main frame for the RC12 chipper. Ran fork lift, over head cranes. This was allot of form fit welding. I spray welded 1/8 inch solid wire allot, used flux core, as well as 1/4 inch corex wire. I also helped where ever needed in the shop, I welded and pressure tested fuel and hydraulic tanks as well as metal finished them to prep for the paint line. Tack and finished all sorts of component parts and welded pin mounting ears on hydraulic cylinders to meet O/D of the pin being used to pin it to the specific model or action the cylinder provides.

I was in charge torch cutting all sizes and lengths of pipe to the correct beveled angle welding it square and straight to be used in road bore, piling as well as any special orders put by the customer. I also ran a petitbone material handler to load and unload customers and suppliers on a daily basis. I worked unsupervised the majority of the time. My superior would drop off orders through out the week,his office was across Lincoln highway where they did all of the pipe threading and the main pipe yard.

As a SPC I did weld destructs measuring and recording nugget sizes of various Car parts for Ford, Dodge, Honda, Saturn, Chevy, Nissan Cadillac. Inspected finished goods and created O.K. to runs as a Sample of what the item should look like coming down the press line or out of the welding cell. I also inspected metal finishers, welders work for Quality Assurance. I also trained and coached new employee's to metal finish, Spot and Mig weld for our production needs. Inspected, signed off or rejected and red tagged incoming material and component parts from suppliers to use in our assembly and welding areas. Trouble shot Quality issues coming down the press line and issues from weld and assembly cells. Completed Walk the talk program, and helped roll out the 5s program in the mid to late 90's.

When I started here I was 12 years old and was recruited by the owner a family member to get me ready for the working working world. I had numerous tasks over the years from yard work, painting exterior offices, washing semi's and trailers, make orders of 5 gallon buckets and labeling with appropriate labels from storage tanks. I was in charge of sweeping the shop, helping mechanic when needed, disposing used motor oil in recycling tank. As I grew older I was in charge of filling orders of 55 gallon drums and properly labeling and stacking with a forklift in our storage warehouse. When I could drive I then started delivering drums and cases of all oil products to north eastern Ohio customers, oil fields, filling stations, farms etc...
