Responsibilities include finance, program integrity, organizational advancement, and public health emergency preparedness and response operations:𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:Division performance management/quality improvement (PMQI), State Health Assessment (SHA), State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP), Workforce Development, Accreditation, Strategic Plan, Nebraska Board of Health, Community Health Office, and division legislative liaison𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞:Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP), Crisis CoAg operations - sustaining the state's public health emergency response and readiness.Emergency Support Function 8 (ESF-8) within Nebraska Emergency Management Agency operations𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲:-Prepare budgets and forecasting approximately $300M in annual expenditures, including $35M in payroll-Evaluate program and fiscal impacts of proposed/introduced legislation; approve estimates of impact-Develop division biennial budget proposal-Supervise division grant management/subrecipient monitoring/audit response staff in the Program Integrity Office-Represent the Division before federal partners and in-state stakeholders-Collaborate with the other members of the Division leadership team to provide financial and policy recommendations to the Director that promote the Division's strategic plan objectives-Develop revenue, expense, and fee forecasting for cash-funded activities, including health licensing programs-Finance lead for public health incident command system (ICS trained), e.g., COVID-19 response-Statutory and regulatory compliance for use of financial resources, including audit finding disallowance appeals or corrective action plans; subject matter expertise on federal uniform grant guidance, including 2 C.F.R 200
