As a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Penn Medicine, I am committed to advancing the clinical profession of pharmacy by educating the next generation of healthcare providers, providing enhanced patient care through multidisciplinary teamwork, and conducting cutting-edge research in education and clinical practice. I have over seven years of experience in internal medicine and cardiology, both in acute and ambulatory care settings, and I am a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). One of my core competencies is developing, implementing, and following collaborative practice agreements, which allow me to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. I also have a passion for medical education and patient education, and I actively mentor pharmacy students, residents, and fellows, as well as provide evidence-based information and guidance to patients and their families. My goal is to leverage my expertise and skills to contribute to the excellence and innovation of Penn Medicine and the field of clinical pharmacy.
