Profile bio

About Ryan D.

I am currently working as an Examinations Officer for Norfolk Educational Services. Primarily based at City College Norwich, the Examinations dept is a hub of activity to assist the education and future of students in Norfolk. My role within the team is to successfully manage, timetable and organise a large amount of data entry, in order to help deliver exam series for general exams (GCSE and A/AS Level) across the colleges we support, as well as working within regulations set by JCQ and various awarding bodies to deliver fair and equal opportunities to all students of all abilities.I have previously worked within telesales, customer service and customer retention, gaining a wider exposure to problem solving, customer resolution and finding creative methods to ensure targets are met. Those skills, amongst others, were also developed within a 5 year career in hospitality, including restaurant and bar management in four counties.I am a very focused and task-driven individual who loves to be able to complete tasks in a orderly and thorough manner and is always striving to develop as an individual to make sure my work is reflective of the high standards I hold for myself and the business I work for.I love working as part of a team, as it gives everyone a chance to share ideas and generate a better idea to help develop a project or task. However, working on an individual basis really allows me to dictate and complete work which is based mainly on a sound logic and good intent and initiative.
