-Lead and coordinate QC inspectors in daily operations, monitor and follow up on each days’ activities and results.-Acting Production Quality Engineer/Supervisor when necessary.-Responsible for training new inspectors on all aspects and duties of the QC inspector role.-Attend communication meetings, presents Electrical & Instrumentation updates to leaders, upper management & Customer.-Perform In-process and Final inspections on Valves, Temperature Elements, Thermocouples, Transmitters (level, pressure, flow, temperature), Cable Tray Systems, Conduit raceways, Control & Junction panels, Cable routing, Cable terminations, Heat Trace and MCC buildings in accordance with vendor, internal and regulatory requirements.-Configure instruments with required parameters using Hart AMS Trex, perform Factory IO Testing through PLCs for panels, valves and instruments.-Develop and maintain Quality Data Books; to include all E&I drawings, NCRs, punch items, MRB log, MOC verifications, transmitter, thermowell, motor and valve data sheets, FIOT (Factory Input / Output Testing) documentation, internal and customer ITRs, and calibration documentation.Initiate non-conformance reports in QCR System, generate and maintain punch items in Unifier and on excel Punch Lists.-Communicate with electrical engineering and manufacturing assisting with corrective actions, and follow up to ensure compliance, communicate with customer regarding quality data books and inspections.-Research data as required; procedures, processes and manufacturer documentation/work instructions.-Follow standards and codes: ISO9001, NEC, UL 508A, and ASME.-Capable of reviewing and interpreting P&ID’s, engineered drawings, specifications and work instructions.-Ensure required inspection documentation is being utilized correctly during inspections.-Ensure all testing equipment used during FIOT is calibrated and in good working order.
