BioEnergy Inc. is a developer and manufacturer of environmentally friendly activated carbon, a filter media used to remove a wide range of contaminants from a variety of processes, the vast majority of which is produced from coal. The company is simultaneously developing a chemical-free processing unit that is tailored to the biomass feedstock. Based on University research and testing, we believe we can provide equivalent or superior performance to competing carbons, in addition to cost-savings for our customers.

As a Program Development Coordinator, my primary responsibilities were to:• Coordinate and write both internal, non-solicited proposals and external, solicited proposals, including analysing the structure and content of proposal drafts to ensure all applicable criteria are met and to maximize the probability of a successful proposal;• Actively participate in strategic planning discussions and making recommendations to senior management regarding topics such as bid/no bid decisions, proposal strategy and program delivery models;• Develop programs from initial conception until implementation, then work with program staff and management to ensure a smooth transition;• Be flexible and adaptable to quickly changing conditions, including new additions to existing workload, and taking on additional responsibilities not included in the job description;• Monitor and research the external environment for innovative programs and continuously search for new program and funding opportunities;• Prioritize tasks from multiple simultaneous projects to meet tight, often conflicting deadlines, in a largely self-directed environment.• Described as having a positive attitude when working under pressure, good judgement and thought process, great planning and coordination skills, and clear communication with all parties involved.

As a Sustainable Energy Analyst, my primary responsibilities were to:• Identify and prioritize potential paths to market for commercialization and growth strategy of BioEnergy Inc.’s proprietary biomass processing technology and product offering; • Make recommendations to senior management;• Prepare and support investment presentations and documents for BioEnergy Inc., including strategy, pro forma financial statements and supporting web site design; • Prepare sales presentations and documents for prospective customers of BioEnergy Inc.’s technology and other products, including a projection model for customer returns on investment and supporting website design;

As a Business Analyst, my primary responsibilities were to:• Conduct data research and analysis using a variety of sources, such as Statistics Canada, the Nova Scotia Dept.
