I was part of the Strategic Projects group and coordinated with Project Managers and staff on internal and external projects that had an impact on continuous improvement within the company.

Pressure testing of hydraulic couplings

My duties include driving the pump truck or other trucks out to location as well as help rigging up to the rig. This include rigging up our iron and water hoses from the pump truck up to the rig floor which we attach our circulating iron to the well head. From there my duties would include running the bin trailers with cement, watching the rig floor for leaks on the iron and watching the shakers for returns.

At 20/20 Exhibits we build tradeshow booths for exhibits and conventions of all kinds but oil companies are our biggest clients. I was a part of building and setting up booths for over 70 oil companies at this year's Offshore Technology Conference at Reliant.

We performed a turnaround at Ascend Performance at the beginning of the year and this was my first turnaround. I was only on site for 30 days but worked 10-12 hour days. I started out working in the tool room checking out and checking in tools throughout the day. The last 2 weeks I was there I was assigned to working in the expediting area. I not only ran materials to personnel inside the plant but was also in charge of going through work orders at the warehouse in order to find out which materials were in use or had already been used.
