My name is Ryan Duffy and I am a graduate from the University of Kentucky, currently the Director of Creative Content for UK Sports Video. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I began graphic design in high school but never had the resources to learn the industry and increase the quality of my content. In my time as a student at Kentucky, I learned a vast amount in both production and editing. Using professional audio and lighting equipment in tandem with cameras like the Panasonic VariCam, BlackMagic Design Ursa Mini, Sony FS7, Arri Amira, Arri Alexa SXT, and Arri Alexa Mini, I have been able to grow exponentially as a videographer and editor. In 2020, I won an SVG Collegiate Sports Video Award for my first special feature on UK's All-American Punter Max Duffy titled "MVP: Most Valuable Punter". In the feature, I share Max's story from playing Professional Australian Rules Football to changing the way punting is done in the US. I then followed this up my winning the award again in 2021 for my feature "Don't Call it a Comeback" showing UK Softball's huge comeback win against #3 Alabama. In 2022, I was nominated for an additional 3 CSMA awards and won an Ohio Valley Emmy for Craft Achievement - Editor.
