Worked with team to visit every school to upgrade the WAN connection from 100Mbps to 1Gbps. Verified that the throughput requirements were being provided by ISP by performing tests. Worked with ISP on sites in which the agreed throughput was not being provided and resolved open issues.Worked with vendors to complete major wireless project in which a significantly secure wireless authentication was implemented throughout the schools. Ensured that all schools in the project were completed to satisfaction and that all documentation was completed.Completed planning and ordering of equipment for existing schools to upgrade aging core switches and to increase bandwidth to provide faster wired and wireless access to client devices.

Performed routine preventative maintenance and monitoring of small business customer workstations and servers including scanning for infections, verification that antivirus software was functioning properly, inspection of hardware / operating system / application software for errors, confirmation that software updates completed successfully and monitoring / testing of server backups. Tools were employed including Connectwise and Continuum applications that provided real-time acknowledgement of issues present on customer equipment to allow for proactive resolutions of issues.Implemented initial configuration, troubleshooting and testing of Datto backup solution at several customer locations. Solution included hourly local backup and daily offsite backup of data as well as a standby virtual clone of the machine in which it was monitoring. Wrote installation/configuration documentation to be used by co-workers to ensure all devices were implemented to set standards.Orchestrated configuration and deployment of brand new Microsoft-based servers and workstations at customer sites to replace failing or obsolete equipment. Tasks involved included migration of critical application data and software, user Exchange databases and user data to new equipment.
