CurrentBright, talented and ambitious Technical Manager (Engineering) Professional who is currently employed with a Large Contract Mining company in the construction industry for the past 9 years.Worked on a number of large scale projects over the last 9 years and have gained extensive experience in various aspects of delivering service excellence, as a result of fantastic leadership and guidance by my superiors and mentors. The latter allowed me to have a very clear understanding of what’s required from me as a technical manager in order to ensure that plant & machine costs, availability / utilization are in order, while still ensuring that the required standards and quality is achieved.My drive to succeed and passion to grow as a professional will automatically show the company stakeholders my commitment to any task allocated to me. My ability to analyze a situation and strategically suggest alternative ways to resolve problematic situations enables my team and me, to at all times cherish the interest of the plant & machinery as well as the company as a whole by building and maintaining appropriate and stronger client/supplier relationships.Liaise and Coordinate closely with senior staff to maximize utilization & availability of all plant assets within Aveng Mining (Shafts and Underground)Manage A team of Technical Analysts to ensure they efficiently perform at top level within the company's various projects, including setting of targets and achieving those targetsOver inspections on mining machinery & equipment to ensure set targets for utilization and availability are according to company standardsRunning the wearcheck programAssist all contracts with the purchase of machineryAdvise Contracts on maintenance related developmentsManage a fleet of +/- 80 machines at one timeMonthly reports to managementAchievements by myself and my team - warrenty claims won in excess of 12M
