CurrentUsed programming knowledge for the following tasks: - Reduce manual data entry during invoice processing by using personally-created website, https://thunderous-snickerdoodle-4469a6.netlify.app, to perform OCR on invoice images and generate CSV files from the parsed metadata. Custom metadata parsers are setup for each type of invoice, so the CSV files require minimal to no preparation before uploading them into Lawson. - Writing custom JavaScript console scripts to cutdown on manual data entry and navigation within Lawson. - Automating inter-application workflows (i.e. running payment and month-end reports, imaging the reports either into Perceptive Content or into the shared drive, toggling between applications, sending remittance emails) using RPA tools such as Microsoft Power Automate desktop flows and command line Python scripts.- Using Excel knowledge (macros, conditional formulas, etc.) to streamline 1099 report processing and to automate payment uploads with Excel's Lawson add-in.Other full-cycle A/P tasks include:- Researching G/L coding and obtaining cost center approval for payments. - Monitoring outstanding checks, voiding/reissuing when needed.- Setting up new vendors and obtaining W-9 forms. - Assisting with any internal or external payment inquiries.
