Born and raised in Fairfield, California, I developed a love for the outdoors early on, spending my summers backpacking and fishing in the Sierras. My childhood was filled with baseball games, fostering a spirit of teamwork and perseverance that has carried me through life.On September 10, 2001, I embarked on a significant chapter by joining the Marine Corps as a UH-1N (Huey) crew chief. My military service, starting the day before 9/11, shaped my resilience and dedication. After separating from the Marines in 2006, I continued in aviation as a contractor until 2010.Driven by a desire to serve my community further, I transitioned to the fire service. In 2014, I was honored to join the Beverly Hills Fire Department, and after a year of rigorous training and probation, I became a firefighter-paramedic. This role has been both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to combine my skills and passion for helping others.While pursuing my career, I met my wife, Desiree, in 2010 at a satellite campus of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. We married in 2011 and now reside in Newbury Park with our three wonderful children and three dogs.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy early morning hikes with my dogs, mountain bike rides with my kids, and flying single-engine airplanes with my wife. These activities reflect my love for adventure, family, and the great outdoors.My journey has been diverse and fulfilling, marked by a commitment to service, family, and the great outdoors. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring new opportunities to grow and contribute.
