Primary point of contact for customer (Ford Motor Company & Tier 1s) for all programactivities from pre-program award through vehicle launch including benchmark studies,program management and timing, studio surface and texture development, productdesign, validation, TVM, and on-site vehicle build support.Provide technical support to sales during pre-award negotiations for new business,reviewing RFQs, market tests, material selections, and BOMs.Initiate and maintain program open issues to ensure engineering, timing, and costobjectives and milestones are met.Conduct manufacturing feasibility assessments for plastic injection molded, painted,chrome plated and textured components and assemblies.Collaborate with OEM Studio, Color, and Materials teams in the development andimplementation of new textured finishes by utilizing image renderings, finish and colorsamples, validation testing, and creation of masters.Review performance specifications, validation requirements and craftsmanship targetsto develop component and system DV/PV test plans, SCCAFs, and gage concepts.
