My responsibilities include, Conducting a count at the beginning and middle of shift to verify numbers and location of inmates. Duties also include feeding inmates as well as making sure to meet Texas Jail Standards for the treatment and activities of inmates.Other duties where the in processing of individuals that where brought into the jail by various police forces in the county, up to and including pat searches, inventory of personal items, mugshots, providing phone calls and entering personal information into the information management program used by Kaufman County Jail.

Ghazni, Afghanistan

I was responsible for daily analysis of various information in order to provide up to date intelligence to counter the improvised explosive device threat in the Ghazni Province of Afghanistan. This included daily briefings as well as updating target packages for key players in the area.

Multiple Locations

While working at various levels and at multiple locations my responsibilities varied. At the beginning of my time as an Intelligence Specialist, I provided analysis of foreign nations weapon systems to pilots in order to familiarize them with possible threats to the themselves and their aircraft. I also conducted analysis of foreign nations themselves focusing primarily on military, political and criminal information within each respective country. Towards the middle of my time I was focused primarily as the country subject matter expert for the Central African Republic and Cameroon. At the end of my service in the Marine Corps I served as an analyst for unmanned aerial vehicle feeds and as an Intelligence Non-Commissioned Officeer and led the production of a portion for a weekly intelligence briefing provided to the Commanding General of the 3rd Marine Air Wing.
