I am a registered patent attorney licensed to practice law in California and in Federal Courts throughout the United States. My practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, with an emphasis on patent, copyright, and trademark matters. I also practice in the areas of civil litigation in California State Courts, and Federal Courts across the United States.I represent both patent owners and accused infringers in litigation and licensing involving a wide range of technologies, including software, electronics, semiconductors, lighting equipment, health supplements, and nutritional products. I also practice in the areas of copyright and trademark, where I represent clients in disputes involving software, motion pictures, advertising, photography, mobile device hardware, entertainment services, lighting equipment, and other consumer products. I advise high-tech companies on intellectual property issues and work with outside counsel to manage high-stakes litigation.I am admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and have experience prosecuting patents and trademarks. I prosecute and defend Inter Partes Review (IPR), covered business method (CBM), reexamination, and other post-grant proceedings before the USPTO. I also handle antitrust and intellectual property investigations before the International Trade Committee (ITC). I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, and prior to practicing law worked as a software engineer at a mobile electronics company.
