A graduate from the University of the Fraser Valley. In my 4 years of study I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a major in Physics as well as an Engineering Physics Diploma while being placed on the Dean's List. In my Physics Degree I covered a wide variety of topics including Mathematical Methods in Physics, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, Solid State Physics, Classical Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Computational Physics, Quantum Physics, and Experimental Methods in Physics. In my Engineering Physics Diploma I covered a wide variety of topics including Circuit Analysis, Sensors and Actuators, Micro-Processors and Embedded Systems, and Automated Control Systems. In this time I have become familiar with several different programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, Mathematica, and LaTeX. I have developed a critical mind that is adept at problem solving in different subjects and settings. I have learned how to effectively and efficiently complete projects on my own or as a part of a group. Some of the projects I have worked on throughout my studies include the beginning of research and development of a two-axis laser cutter using a PSoC 5LP micro-processor, a robot designed and programmed with sensors to maneuver around a room while avoiding objects or ledges, and a sound amplifier. I am currently working in customer service at Subway sandwiches, the job I have worked at throughout my studies, where I have developed leadership and communication skills that I will take with me to a future career in my fields of study.
