Initial project was working for Presence of IT to implement SAP HR and Payroll for NSW Department of Education. This is one of the largest HR/Payroll implementations in Australia, a highly customised solution for over 130,000 employees. The fixed price component was delivered within Presence of IT Budget.After the final go live our team transitioned to work with BAU support team to implement BAU stability and processes. During this phase I managed functional teams implementing change requests and defects in SAP HR & Payroll. Achievements & Responsibilities- Project scheduling and Project planning for ongoing remediation and change requests. - Develop reports and analysis from several data sources on the daily position of business change requests and defects.- Stakeholder management to Director level.- Manage eight functional teams consisting of over forty team members.- Manage escalations from the Department of Education and Presence of IT Project Managers.- Drive closure of stalled major payment milestones.- Manage blueprint finalisation process.- Create and distribute status reports to Director level, Project Control Group and Project Governance Group.- Manage defects, reporting and allocation of resources.- Risk, Actions, Issues and Decision register review and reporting. - Create statement of work and budgets for BAU support extensions.- Actual vs Budget vs Forecast tracking and reporting for main project and numerous change requests.- Implement and manage new processes for handling of change requests.
