I grew in this position from a Machine Operator. Demonstrated leadership qualities my manager has set forth and guided me through how to manage my team. As a Project Specialist I successfully achieved how to manage the workflow from the customer needs to shop management in order to get the orders out in time. I was taught to evaluate individual strengths and weaknesses when assigning tasks to make the workflow move as quickly and effectively throughout the computer screen to assembly. I helped develop and design our products, given my machinist experience when I was hired, helped out when in need to help my employees when needed. I was also in charge of learning how to operate an industrial 3D ink printer to not only make our product look and feel cleaner, but to cut cost and labor on our assembly line. The printer company (I’m not sure I’m allowed to disclose their name), saw our work and was willing to give us a prototype of one of their most expensive and largest printers not on the market just yet with the agreement that we provide feedback and data for an analyst to interpret on their end. A massive project that only me and my mentor took on.
