Running site on my own / plant and equipment mandatory checks and PPM maintaining valuable assets on site. - take chemical deliveries ( ferric sulphate)- operating on effluent and sludge side of a stw carrying out daily activities and maintenance on belt press / pumps and also working on aeration lanes and blowers. - running to tight deadlines and within tight consents set by the environmental agency to stay compliant and keeping management updated and informed on a daily basis - take part in a standby rota 1 in 6 attending out of hours call outs - BOAS on the THP ( thermal hydrolysis plant ) producing steam from the boiler to heat sludge and create electricity using our CHP ( combined heat and power ) engines. - responsible for filling out weekly cockpit data and uploading comments for high level management to analyse. - working to a budget being cost aware and selecting and engaging with contractors signing them off to work (TWOSA) and also making sure the job they done is complete to a high standard.
