I am a theatre maker, and educator with a passion for devised ensemble theatre and verbatim documentary theatre. Pre-Covid, I ran the Drama program at Kinsella Magnet High School for Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut where I taught classes in performance, playwriting, directing, devised theatre, and technical design, as well as directing and designing for Kinsella’s after school productions. My work is based in creating community and using theatre to inspire play, incite imagination, foster self-confidence, and facilitate social change. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the program of Educational Theatre at NYU Steinhardt focusing on the capability of interview based verbatim documentary theatre to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities in NY state. I am also the Coordinator of Autism Friendly Performances & Accessibility Programs at Theatre Development Fund (TDF).
