On May 9th, I joined Tekion Corp as an Implementation Specialist. I just finished all of the training materials, but know I realize after one day of trying to do the job just how little I really know. Looking forward to soaking it all in and shedding my noob status. There are several alumni from my previous company here, and all have made me feel very welcome. So has everyone else. This is an amazing place.Tekion is in that perfect spot for me- still "start up" enough that everyone from the founder and CEO on down all have a sense of mission that permeates everything we do. But unlike the last start-up I was involved with, they are well funded and on solid footing. So it is like riding the Desperado in Primm, Nevada- scary and exciting as hell on that first drop, but in the back of your mind you know you are strapped in and there is a heck of a safety net in place.I think I have found where I need to be now.

I started as part of the proactive support group, reaching out to my dealer base daily to help them get the most value out of their Dealertrack F&I products and services. The team supports thousands of people, helping them realize the full potential of the software they use every day. It's like learning all the cool things your car will do, but you don't have to read the owner's manual. I then moved to the uniFI Upgrade Team, working with dealers on-site and remotely to manage the upgrade to our new platform. I was tapped to be a project coordinator, where my primary responsibility was managing the logistics of the uniFI upgrade process for a team of 7 upgrade specialist. Once the uniFi upgrade project wrapped up, my responsibilities switched to handling digital contracting related support calls, training end users, managing installations of new product, and working on problem diagnostics and product enhancements.
