In college, I discovered advertising and enjoyed making catchy one-liners. After graduating, I worked for TBS on big campaigns for the NBA and MLB. Over the next 20 years, I created campaigns for shows like Family Guy, American Dad, as well as designing award-winning campaigns for Conan OโBrien and Samantha Bee.๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ & ๐๐ ๐ฅAs Creative Director at Lifetime in Los Angeles, I led a team and found my stride. In a span of 3 years, my team launched hit shows including You and Married at First Sight. Then in 2018 there was a reorganization at A&E, and my department became an in-house agency working across all the A&E brands. I built this new agency from scratch, and we became one of the highest-performing groups in the company, creating campaigns for hit shows like Live PD, Vikings, and one of TVโs biggest stunts, Historyโs Car Week. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌIn 2019, I became Creative Director at Freeform, a subsidiary of Disney. I launched the campaign for a runaway hit series, Cruel Summer. After a snowstorm shuttered our shoot in Dallas, I pivoted to voiceover-driven spots, designing an innovative approach with 3 separate trailers for different stages of the campaign. The strategy made Cruel Summer the most-streamed Freeform series ever on Hulu with 6M+ views per episode, more than double the next-highest series. This campaign created the template for those that followed. We won a Clio award for Single Drunk Female campaign in 2022 which garnered 2.5M views per episode. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐Since becoming a Creative Director, Iโve launched record-breaking shows, created award-winning campaigns, and learned how to overcome freak snow storms. Iโm even more proud of my son, who despite struggling with autism, got all straight Aโs this year.
