New Model Co-ordinator, Inventory Management Supported the client launch a new vehicle line, project managing the department’s efforts to build on the success of past launches, from initial planning phase to post launch support. Working extensively with the client and the company’s New Model Manager to manage late changes to strategies and/ or requirements from the markets. Some of the key deliverables:• I was the main contact for the markets, client and New Model Manager to detail progress on Initial Stock submissions and when market could expect to receive their stock. I developed several key reports to the client and project team detailing our status against our key deliverables, • Developed and delivered training material to management and internal departments to share best practices, working habits and the project charter.• Developed and delivered global deployment plans detailing our stocking policies for each market, along with the projected stock of each item we intended to bring in to support the launch., • Met all timing plan milestones• I was accountable for forecasting demand on over 5000 new materials to support the market launch, determining stocking policies, initial stocking requirements and raised schedules requirements on over 300 vendors in line with their capacity requirements. • Developed and enhanced deployment logic to ensure receipted stock was deployed to each market to support the launch and prevent over stocking in the master facility as well as maximising availability across the dealer network and reducing risk to obsolenance stock.• Implemented numerous process improvements to the New Model Process as an action from Lesson Learnt exercises held with the project team.

Design and develop user type application programs for division utilizing computer tools such asExcel, Access. Provide downloaded data files for utilization on personal computers. Monitor systems and procedures toensure the operation is accurate, efficient, and serving the purpose intended and to ensure systems and procedures are beingapplied properly between various groups. Required to provide reports on a regular and ad hoc basis.• Worked as a SME on a balck belt project to deliver an I.S system enhancement on SAP, some of the key contributions were to identify business requirements and enhancements to current processes and system, and provide sample data to the developer to support cross-functional User Acceptance testing of the system. I was accountable for cleansing over 50,000 purchasing data records, delivering presentations to our purchasing department on the benefits of the new system enhancements and collating all responses from the department. • Developed management reports based on current priorities and business strategies to help the business unit maintain relationship with the client.• Developed databases, systems, processes to the business unit to support current business strategies, to help simplify tasks and provide users with meaningful information to drive their actions.• Delivered a project to enhance the Supplier Portal, a web based tool, which we provide to our suppliers and planners to monitor their own portfolio and download weekly schedules. Working with the developer and project team we mapped out the business requirements, working with a number of departments across the business and cross-referenced these requirements to the voice of the customer. After extensive user testing the system was implemented and I designed training plans and documentation for the planners, co-ordinating workshops to expose the planners to the new system and platform and be confident enough to role this tool out to the supply base.
