My work at Trinity is evolving. I started with preparing Print Packages. I currently, and will continue to help solve minor design/engineering problems that arise, as well to help develop the Visualization automation that Trinity plans to implement in the next couple of years. The position requires heavy collaboration and communication, and I quite enjoy that.

My inter-office title was “Conductor of Chaos”. I was responsible for project side of the company. Including schedule attention, project planning, strategic direction, and more. Goals for our team were the creation of new and innovative toys from concept to prototype, with a turn-key hand-off for manufacturing.

I was responsible for the fitment and testing of the mechanical systems within the animatronic toys, design concept and development, and CAD (starting with Solidworks and transitioning to Fusion 360). I was also tasked with basic electronics, in the capacity of simple circuits to run LED's and servo motors. The position required perseverance in the face of extremely tight deadlines. It was also extremely important to be an avid and passionate learner of new techniques, processes, tools, equipment and software.

At this tradeshow, displays, and exhibits company, I started part time as a production worker. Due to my background, was taught plastic fabrication and moved on to a full time position. I was then trained how to run the CNC router, and became the go to guy for the odd or difficult projects. Those projects were like puzzles that I loved to solve.
