Hi, My name is Ryan and I am a physiotherapist working in Modbury, South Australia at Physiofit Adelaide. I have a passion for treating injuries of the shoulder and elbow, including post-surgical rehabilitation, exercise-related injuries and acute sports injuries. Our clinic has a full gym set up, as well modern technology such as dynomometers which allows for a more tailored and progressive rehabilitation program. Outside of my clinical consulting, I also help mentor and provide support for our younger clinicians.Prior to my physiotherapy training I studied exercise science and undertook a traineeship in the physiology department at the Australian Institute of Sport. My roles included assisting senior staff provide physiological sport to Olympic level athletes and teams. Following on from this I undertook my honours study looking at developing a new fitness test for young basketball athletes.All my experience has led me to having strong expertise in the rehabilitation process from day 1 post injury right through to return to sport or activity. I also have skills in other treatment modalities such as dry needling and massage.
