Ryan Jensen Email and Phone Number
I recently changed my major to Information Technology. In the brief time I have studied IT, I have already learned a lot. I just got my TestOut PC Pro certification, and am looking forward to getting as many certifications as I can. Computers are endlessly fascinating to me, and knowing how to troubleshoot and fix them is a very important skill. I look forward to entering the IT field and using what I have learned to help others.

Vacuum SpecialistUtah Valley University May 2022 - Jul 2024Orem, Utah, United StatesAt this job, being dependable is very important. The buildings we are assigned to have to be cleaned every day. If we aren't there to do this, things will get dirty quickly. Another important aspect of this job is customer support. We will receive specific requests from people who we clean for, and we always make sure to fulfill those requests to the best of our abilities. -
Covid TechnicianUtah Valley University Jan 2021 - May 2022Orem, Utah, United StatesI had a few different roles in this job. Sometimes I would work at the front and admit patients into the clinic for testing. Or I would be the one administering the COVID test to them. Or I would be analyzing the results, entering the data, and emailing the test results back to patients. This job required patience, and the ability to calm people down. Patients would often be nervous and antsy about receiving the test. Helping them stay still and get through the process was a daily task. Entering the results also required focus. Sending a false result could cause major problems, and so we avoided doing so at all costs. -
Western Route DriverStukenholtz Laboratory Inc May 2020 - Aug 2020Twin Falls, Idaho, United StatesMy role in this job to memorize and drive an extensive route, and along that route to pick up farm samples from several different businesses. The route would take about 10 hours to drive, and I would drive it three times a week. This job had no room for error. The soil and plant samples I collected needed to be picked up and analyzed. The results would be sent back to the farm companies, and they could adjust as needed to make sure their crops were thriving. I had to be very dependable and available to fulfill this job. -
BusserCafe Zupas Jan 2020 - Mar 2020Provo, Utah, United StatesI worked at Cafe Zupas as a table busser. My job mostly revolved around keeping the dining area clean, clearing off tables once customers were done, and keeping supplies full for customers. This job did not last long due to the 2020 pandemic. We were told to go home, and so I had to quit this job prematurely. I enjoyed the brief time I had there. -
Woodworking Machine OperatorPremier Woodworking Feb 2019 - Aug 2019Twin Falls, Idaho, United StatesI was hired on to Premier Woodworking to help with basic functions of the business. All jobs the company received would usually be started by me. I would gather the wood needed, and run it through a series of machines, saws, and other processes. I would measure wood down the millimeter to make sure it was the correct size. I also worked with a forklift, and had various tasks to accomplish with that as well. This job required lots of safety measures, as woodworking involves a lot of personal risk. It also required coordination and teamwork to get these jobs done. One job would go through 5-6 teams before it could get finished. And since I was the first level, I had to closely listen to what was needed of me.

Summer Crew WorkerRangen Inc. Jun 2016 - Sep 2016Buhl, IdahoAt Rangen Inc, I worked on the Summer Crew, which meant that I was mainly used to do all of the grunt work. Some of the things I did were paint things such as doors, safety lines and poles, and shipping containers. I also cleaned out their shipping containers, and then stacked them or loaded them onto a truck with a forklift. My job primarily saved the company time and money, since they didn't have to spend millions to build a washing plant. This was the hardest job I'd ever worked at. Everyday i spend 9 hours in the hot sun, often doing difficult manual labor. The job was messy, smelly, and taught me alot about working hard and definitely improved my ability to work.
