I have been in the construction industry nearly all of my life, and I love it! I started by working as a materials delivery driver for a local lumber yard and then shortly moved into the office doing quantity takeoffs for the builders that used the lumber yard. I then went from preforming takeoffs to being a carpenter so that I could gain more experience in the industry. After high school I was a framing and finish carpenter for 6 years working in southeastern Idaho while attending BYU-Idaho. After graduating with a BS Degree in Construction Management I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in several sectors of the industry. Ranging from a Target department store ($6m) to building the St Regis Hotel in Park City, UT ($180M) to a state of the art whole milk drying plant for the Dairy Farmers of America ($43M+). I have a knack for dealing with people, everyone I have worked with I have been able to get along with and get the job done regardless of the situation we are in together. To be able to grow personally I recently finished my Masters Degree in Business Leadership so that I would be able to improve my leadership and communication so that I am able to accomplish needed tasks as quickly as possible.
