I graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I completed a capstone project focused on evaluating and simulating the effects of non-condensable gas injection on a SAGD reservoir. I am excited for the opportunity to gain more reservoir engineering experience and add value to business operations. I completed an internship, working as a Field Production Engineer at MEG Energy's Christina Lake Project. Being fully immersed in the field operations, I gained valuable insight to the technical oversight of surface field facilities. After graduation, I returned to the Field Production Engineer role for 2 years prior to transitioning to a role within the Calgary Production Engineer team. In my new role, I was responsible for day to day optimization of ~35,000 bpd of SAGD production, evaluating wells for intervention opportunities as necessary.As of Jul 2023, I have transitioned to Cenovus Energy as a reservoir engineer to diversify my engineering background and continue to grow my technical expertise within the thermal oil and gas industry.I enjoy solving problems using an analytical and innovative approach, and I'm always seeking new opportunities to learn new skills and technologies.
