My main focus since joining the Soft Matter Materials Branch (RXAS) at the Air Force Research Laboratory has been to develop flexible energy storage for hybrid electronics systems. To this end, our team has been advancing technology for almost every aspect of Li-ion batteries and includes:-Flexible and creasable batteries based on carbon nanotube current collectors-In situ mechanical testing-Printable current collector-embedded electrode inks based on carbon nanofibers-Printable electrolytes based on high ceramic loading capable of high rate and high temperature electrochemical cycling
