I taught Latin and finance to middle and high school students for five years before beginning my law career. Teaching, I developed the skills I now use to negotiate with and convince reticent adverse parties or clients, and to work as part of a team or leading a team. I am an empathetic communicator, an effective and enthusiastic team member and leader, and I thrive on hard work and opportunities to take responsibility. Watching my father negotiate deals between municipalities and financial institutions instilled in me an appreciation for the importance of effective counsel in business. Through him, I developed a passion both for learning others' goals and for developing strategies to help them succeed.
