I help businesses of all sizes meet their financial goals by providing access to the wide range of products and services available from Virginia Credit Union. I am focused on servicing existing relationships as well as attracting new members who will benefit from the services we provide. My role focuses primary on lending solutions such as commercial mortgages, term loans, and working capital lines of credit; however, our members have access to all VACU departments including deposit and treasury services, wealth management, consumer realty and mortgage lending, and our vast network of members and business partners.

As the Small Business Lending Manager it was my responsibility to ensure that C&F Bank’s loan products, processes, pricing, and servicing activities were executed to meet the demand and expectations of the clients and team members. C&F provides lending services to all sizes of businesses in a wide variety of markets and strives to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the loan process. C&F Bank does this by offering the community business partners fair, competitive, and versatile loan products to help their business grow and remain successful.

As the Assistant Branch Manager, it is my responsibility to ensure that our staff is properly prepared and trained to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service and financial advice. I must be knowledgeable of all processes and requirements related to operations, risk management, product details and sales generation in order to serve as a role model and leader to my teammates.In addition to my core duties, this role requires that I am experienced and well trained in consumer and commercial lending, regulatory requirements relating to the financial industry, business classifications, cash flow analysis, underwriting and analytical calculations and other industry and market specific skill sets.

The Relationship Banker role allowed me to focus on delivering sound advice relating to the planning, preparation, and execution of my clients expressed and unexpressed financial needs. Meeting, networking and collaborating with local businesses and other financial institutions was an essential part of this title. The primary focus as a Relationship Banker is the increased exposure of C&F Bank to our local markets in order to acquire new consumer and commercial customers as well as expand the existing relationships already established within our company.
