Interim Head Of MediaAfc Fylde Jun 2018 - Nov 2018Kirkham And WeshamThis is a role that I covered on a temporary basis for 6 months. AFC Fylde and Tangerine Holdings are under the same ownership so following this opportunity I went back to my original role as Social and Content Associate.Whilst looking after the role I was in charge of raising the profile of all areas of AFC Fylde including First Team, Academy and Community Foundation by assisting in the smooth running of all media operations through the facilitation of and attendance at senior staff meetings, answering of queries from various media organisations, and the management and production of relevant marketing materials including the match day programme, websites and social media. The role provided a great opportunity as I found myself announcing 11 new signings, interviewing players/management and creating programme content. As well as this I directed a photoshoot and successfully launched the 2018/19 home shirt.Other responsibilities included organising and producing all materials for the AFC Fylde website and social media, such as interviews, latest reports and marketing. Social And Content AssociateTangerine Holdings Jan 2018 - Nov 2018Lytham St Anne’S, Lancashire, United KingdomWorking independently, I was responsible for managing the social media accounts across multiple brands. The brands range from agricultural products to the hospitality industry and the include the following VetPlus, Carr & Day & Martin, Agri-Lloyd, Lytham St George’s Day Festival, Milano's Restaurant, Bradleys Sports Bar, Churchill's Function Suites and when required I also offered assistance for AFC Fylde.I kept at the forefront of social trends, with an eye for excellent copy to help set the tone for how Tangerine Holdings communicates with its different customers. I worked very closely with each individual business and created social media strategies to help each company develop and reach a larger audience via social media. My role was very diverse and demanding. One day I could have be running a live football match commentary on Twitter for AFC Fylde and the next day I could be photographing horses in a field for Carr & Day & Martin. This could make make my role very difficult which is why I paid exceptional attention to detail with each individual post to make sure I was consistent with each brand. -
Social Media AgentDixons Carphone Sep 2016 - Dec 2017Preston, United KingdomAs part of a brand new team, I was responsible for handling customer service issues from beginning to end via Facebook and Twitter. As a point of contact for queries and feedback across social media, I handled customer problems in a public forum, including the company’s most serious and sensitive issues.Due to the nature of the role, it was crucial I communicated in a customer-friendly, conversational, yet professional manner. After six months in the role, I began to take on a Community Management role the main priority of this role was to respond to customer engagement whilst reflecting the company's marketing strategy. I thrived in this role and some of my work was picked up by some of the company's Senior Management. As well as this I was also tasked with communicating the team's success stories and created weekly blogs that were then added to the businesses internal social media platform 'Workplace'. This work was crucial and helped keep our teams success at the forefront of the business. As the team developed so did I and it wasn't long until my hard work was rewarded as I was selected as just one of 12 Nominated Social Learning Champions across the whole business. My main goal was to assist with a brands transition, this involved creating 11 video vlogs for internal use to highlight the changes in the business.Another unique opportunity soon arose and I was invited to London to take part in a video photoshoot. The main aim of the day was to highlight the benefits of working for Dixons Carphone and the results were added to the company's career website and are still there today. It was a great experience working for Dixons Carphone. Unfortunately, due to the location, promotion opportunities were limited to their Head Office in London and relocation wasn't an option. I was extremely keen to move into a marketing role and couldn't refuse the chance to work in my next role as Social & Content Associate.

Compliance OfficerHm Revenue & Customs Sep 2015 - Sep 2016Blackpool, United KingdomMy role was managing claims for Tax Credits benefits by applying complex rules and legislation to determine entitlement.I worked in Pre-payment Intervention (PPI) for Tax Credits & Benefits Identifying incorrect Tax Credit claims at the pre-award stage. I would check each claim thoroughly making note of all important details, I would then cross reference my checks with various government systems ensuring the information provided is correct. If I felt there were some inaccuracies I would contact the applicant via letter in a clear and understanding manner requesting more information. Once received I would log the information on a case file and make relevant photocopies then contact the claimant by telephone advising what information I need to see for their claim to progress or make my decision and accept or reject their claim.Following this, I would return all documents to the claimant with a clear and understanding explanation of how I have come to my decision. Occasionally I may come across a complex case where I would discuss the details with colleagues, this helped share knowledge and can confirm the correct decision was made.I could have up to 50 claims open at any one time with each letter containing my direct telephone number so I was always available to offer advice. Once my case had been closed I would ensure all files were stored correctly, they were filed electronically in the monthly central file and any other papers were stored in alphabetical order in a monthly box file within locked storage in our office. It is essential this process is done as the files contain sensitive information. This was a very testing role due to the sensitive work and I would often come under a lot of pressure from applicants claiming hardship.Despite the interest and diversity of the role, I found my passion was within the Media and Marketing industry and quickly looked to enter into this sector. -

Often left to create descriptive content, dealing with printers and ensuring all brochures were proofed before offering a hand in the dispatch process to over 20,000 people.Following two years in the role, I was promoted to Group Reservations Coordinator. This new challenge involved dealing with various Tour Operators from around the world. The bookings would involve over 100 people which I would single handily manage from beginning to end taking note of any requests and ensuring they were met. I thrived in this role and realised my skills for attention to detail.Added to this role was the task of managing the company's Loyalty System, this was a difficult task on a very old system and comprised of adding loyalty points and sending monetary vouchers when necessary. Attention to detail was once again crucial as any mistake could create customers to receive undeserved vouchers of up to £500.00
