Analyst attached to the Tier 3/Incident Response Team. Providing IR for over 200,000 endpoints, and millions of customers. Normal duties consist of forensic acquisition, chain of custody, host based forensics, network forensics, memory analysis, malware analysis, and reverse engineering. My main focus is malware, using several different techniques analyzing a multitude of tricks used by bad actors.

Perform Cyber assessments on overall architecture of networks, operating systems, hardware platforms, site specific applications, and the services and protocols upon which those applications rely. Protect critical assets from Cyber threats and conduct security audits, network scans, and penetration tests against assets. Work with onsite engineers to conduct Cyber investigations involving the compromise of critical assets and support data aggregation of a large set of network security systems. Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues and provide incident response and remediation recommendations. Ensure continuous monitoring, interact with vendors, identify configuration issues, assist with patch management, and conduct other resolution actions.

Analyst attached to the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT). Using enterprise SIEM tools, such as Splunk, SEP, Nessus, Ziften and others, I identify risks in systems that facilitate over 35,000 employees, and 2.4 million customers. Additional duties include: educating teams on weaknesses in the environment while working together on the remediation steps, staying current on the latest threats and vulnerabilities, and continuous training courses to improve leadership skills as well as technical capabilities.
