Ryan Loo is the Chief Executive Officer of CapsuleTransit, with a passion for architecture and hospitality. Graduating from Monash University Australia with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering, he began his professional journey in the engineering construction and commercial HVAC sectors.Driven by a deep-rooted interest in building and design, Ryan made a pivotal decision at the age of 25 to venture into property building, commencing with his first bungalow project. This endeavour laid the foundation for Container Hotel, the first of its kind in South East Asia, in 2013.In 2014, Ryan launched CapsuleTransit, a capsule hotel in airport, initiating a transformative journey that would redefine airport transit hotel and travel experiences. Strategically located in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 with 79 beds, CapsuleTransit has evolved into a refreshing pitstop for air travelers, now offering 298 beds across Terminals 1 and 2, with further expansion plans in motion, making them one of the largest capsule hotel operator in Asian airport. With a mission to turn weary travellers into refreshed explorers, CapsuleTransit is committed to continuously enhance airport accommodation experience, providing a revitalising space for guests to refresh and recharge before embarking on their journeys.Looking forward, Ryan is excited to premier CapsuleTransit MAX, a premium boutique hotel at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2.
