● Responsible for preparing proposal text and life cycle costing to execute Operations and Maintenance for Transit Systems (rolling stock, wayside equipment and fleet operations) spanning up to 30 years in duration.● Manage the Bombardier and Joint Venture partner consolidation of schedules including cost resource staffing schedules.● Responsible for final submission of Bombardiers Joint Venture budgeted price to clients.● Support the mobilization phase of successful bids.

•Responsible for preparation, coordination and submission of client price forms with external Consortium / Joint Venture partners for Turn-key and PPP Light Rail and Monorail Transit Systems International Tenders.•Co-pilot to the Sales and Bid manager to ensure focus on the achievement of financial goals of the various bids targeted by the Division. Single point of contact for all financial cost issues relating to past & present bids. •Coordinate with financial consultants to optimize revenue and cost flows for lowest client NPV.•Provide all required financial information using comprehensive costing model tools to present to Divisional Management and customers.•Support Project Management and Bid Management to accurately sustain targeted margins while reducing costs to meet proposal target prices, support Bid Planning to provide costing assumptions, and ensure that Bombardier Accounting Pricipals are accurately maintained. •Apply in-depth knowledge of the scope of supply, contractual terms & conditions of payment and the contractual milestones to achieve financial goals.•Lead Core Team members in meeting or improving their targets. Challenge the bid teams to assure a successful bid execution. Prepare and update reports and presentations in Bid Management review meetings.•Work in unison with Procurement & Engineering to quantify the impact of change orders (profitability calculation), assess the impact on the different cost items in the calculation with detailed analysis of the Bill of material and Engineering hours.•Support Contracts commercial negotiations and preparation of proposal contract terms and conditions ensuring all contract requirements are reflected in the financial cost models.•Ensure appropriate training & development of personnel involved in departmental inputs to bid controlling as required.
