CurrentI started with Shoppers Drug Mart Pitt Meadows when the store was reopened as a large format store. i began as a merchandiser where my roles included stocking/restocking shelves, setting up planograms every period and auctioning weekly planogram adjustments, and managing inventory. Soon after began a part time role as a store supervisor performing daily cashier reconciliations and daily daily morning deposits. Both merchandising and supervisory roles had me looking after customer's concerns and addressing any issues that may have been brought to my attention. Was promoted to Assistant Front Store Manager in 2016, which my responsibilities include managing staff and hours through scheduling and adjusting shifts based on busy and slow sales times in a day. managing inventory costs and controls. During this time I set up my location and helped 2 other locations set up for both Infinity Principles (2014 approx.) and BiMi (2017). Both initiatives were set up and ready before launch date and i trained the merchandising staff on both initiatives and ensured all other staff were aware of the programs before launch date. To aid in my managers day to day work load I also review daily performance metrics and discuss how we can better our performance in sales and shrink management. Also discussing the performance of staff and advancement options for them if they would like to move forward and grow with the business.
