I'm a Multimedia Journalist with Scotland's most watched news channel, STV News.As part of this role, I am responsible for contributing news and sport packages for our different news bulletins throughout the week and weekend. I started at STV in November 2018 as a Production Journalist, before moving to a Multimedia Journalist in August 2019. In both of these positions I have to film, edit and produce my own packages. I split my time between news and sport, reacting to breaking stories as well as coming up with my own journalism.At my time at STV, I have worked on some of the biggest news and sports stories. I regularly attend and work at sport conferences and games at the highest end of Scottish sport, as well as at European and international level. In my news role, I have worked on stories during the most important time in Scottish and British politics.After achieving a first class honours degree in Journalism and Edinburgh Napier University, I began working at one of the UK's most read regional newspapers, The Courier. This role put me right in the firing line of news reporting.Before this, I also worked at the Scottish Sun on the sports desk, as well as at professional rugby side Glasgow Warriors as a multimedia intern.As a person, I am a passionate sports fan, and enjoying reading literature on self-improvement - particularly books on mindset. I am a very outgoing and positive person and committed to improving as a journalist and a person.
