I am an environmental educator, field naturalist, birder, musician, composer & songwriter from Westchester County NY and a graduate of Bard College. For nearly 10 years I have worked for the National Audubon Society’s original nature education center in Greenwich CT where I currently serve as Education Coordinator. In this role I have developed a passionate and detail-oriented work ethic to design & implement public programs, school programs, lead bird walks and other nature tours. Amongst my responsibilities in conducting school programs is the coordination and training of our Volunteer Teacher Naturalist educators, who have played a pivotal role in our center’s programs for over 50 years. I have also managed online content creation of social media and virtual programming during the height of COVID-19 which increased our engagement with the public worldwide. As a musician equally proficient in guitar, drums and voice, my work has extended to session work, composing for a variety of ensembles including jazz groups, orchestras and rock bands, as well as teaching music lessons to everyone from children to college students.Notable music projects:Original Music:Meadowhawks (2013-present, guitarist/drummer/vocalist/bassist/songwriter)www.meadowhawksmusic.com, www.meadowhawks.bandcamp.com'Over the Edge' (Senior concert for Bard College, original compositions written for jazz horn combo and stringshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ap80fNTZcs)Split Point (2010-2013, guitarist/vocalist)Ramrad (2010-2013, guitarist/vocalist)Elephant Highway (2010-present, drummer)Evan Uhlmann (2010-2012, guitarist)Bard Contemporary Jazz Ensemble (2009-2013, drummer/composer.
