Experienced Laboratory Technologist with a history working in research, and industrial industries. Skilled in analytical, instrumental and process chemistry. Graduated from Cambrian College. I currently work as a laboratory technologist at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. I am responsible for the day to day operations of several gas analysis mass spectroscopy facilities. Analyses that are related to reactor safety and materials research.Recently I put together a team that won the 2021 North American Young Generation in Nuclear - Innovation 4 Nuclear idea contest. The idea is; Integrating Proof-Of-Work Digital Asset Mining into Canada's Small Modular Reactor Action Plan.We will be presenting the idea at the international Young Generation in Nuclear conference in Sochi, Russia in May 2022.While researching to present this idea I have developed a great deal of understanding of; monetary systems, electrical Generation and distribution infrastructure, Proof of Work digital assets.To further develop my skills I would like to develop a deeper understanding of electrical infrastructure from the smallest scale, chips and circuit boards, to large scale distribution and transmission. My intention is to prepare myself to be capable of building and maintaining Proof-Of-Work infrastructure alongside the deployment of SMRs in Canada and abroad.
